Cable Drive Adapter

Fit the cable drive connector to the rear of the gauge in place of the speed sensor, please note the two different types easily identified by a white plug or a black plug.
Cable drive converter – if you are using the cable drive converter instead of magnets use the following system to determine the number of sensor points – rotate the wheel once noting how many times your standard cable turns per single rotation of the wheel for instance 2.5 turns per single rotation....
Every time the standard cable turns its equivalent to six sensor points (magnets) therefore in the instance of the standard cable turning 2.5 times per rotation of the wheel it will be 2.5 x 6 = 15 sensor points (magnets). If it is not possible or practical to rotate the wheel to determine the ratio of the standard cable drive enter 12 then check your speed with a Sat. Nav. increasing or reducing the number of sensor points accordingly.
